Airfix A55107 1/72 North American Mustang IV Starter Set

The North American P51 Mustang is regarded as one of the most iconic American fighters of World War II. The aircraft was redesigned with a Rolls Royce Merlin engine according to RAF specifications. The extended range and high firepower made this aircraft an excellent escort fighter, allowing it to shield bombers all the way back to and from Berlin. After the war, the P51 saw action in Korea and was used by some air-arms until the early 1980s.
