1:35 Morris Bofors C9/B Early WWII Gun Truck Model Military Kit

The British Morris Bofors C9/B Gun Truck was an early version of the truck to carry the Bofors 40mm gun. It was established during World War II. The Bofors 40 mm anti-aircraft gun was widely used during this period and was an effective weapon against air attacks.

The Gun Truck concept was to mount a Bofors 40mm gun on the back of a Morris Commercial C9/B 4x2 truck. This was to provide mobile air defense for military convoys, especially during the campaign in North Africa and elsewhere where air strikes posed a significant threat. Thanks to the truck's mobility, it was possible to accompany convoys and provide protection against enemy aircraft.

The Bofors C9/B Gun Truck had a rotating turret with a Bofors gun, which allowed effective anti-aircraft fire in different directions. The gun had a high rate of fire and accuracy, which made it effective against enemy aircraft. In addition, ammunition supplies were carried on the truck, which allowed for continuous fire during combat.

Over time, the Gun Truck concept evolved, and similar configurations were used by various other nations during and after World War II. Gun-armed trucks continued their use in various conflict zones, often with adaptations to suit specific operational requirements.
