Self-Propelled Gun Su-1 (T-26 Chassis) Rubber Tracks
The SU-1 is a light self-propelled howitzer equipped with a PS-3 76.2mm howitzer and a 7.62mm machine gun DT2 in a closed fixed battle room; its prototype debuted in 1931, and it was the world's first self-propelled howitzer with an enclosed battle room. Various problems were discovered in tests with the prototype, but as a result of continuous improvement, it has the same running performance as the T-26 tank used as its base, and it has higher accuracy than towed howitzers. On the other hand, it never entered mass production because the battle room shook violently while it was driving, making it impossible to shoot while moving. This model kit comes with injection-plastic link-and-length tracks and photo-etched parts
