The Albatross is a reciprocating twin-engine amphibious flying boat developed by Grumman, Inc. as the successor to the Grumman Mallard. This version features the extended main wings of the Navy type B; it was known as the UF-2 when used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
