The M19 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun is an American self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery that utilizes the chassis of the M24 light tank.

In 1943, the T65E1 prototype was developed by mounting an open-top turret on the rear of the M24 chassis and equipping it with twin 40mm M2 autocannons. After some improvements, it was officially designated as the M19 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun.

A total of 904 units were ordered from manufacturers in August 1944, and production began in April 1945. However, by June of the same year, only 285 units were completed before the war ended, leading to the cancellation of the remaining orders.

After the war, it was used in the Korean War and supplied to countries that had adopted the M24 along with other variants of the M24.

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force also received 35 units starting in 1953, which were in service until 1979.

The kit features a link-and-length style track, and comes with photo-etched parts, a metal barrel, and decals.

Released by the Chinese manufacturer, For Art, this is a 1/72 scale military injection kit.
