The Danmark is a three-masted training ship built in 1933 for the Denmark Trade and Industry Ministry. She participated along with 224 other sailing ships from 35 countries in the US Bicentennial celebration in New York.
Aoshima's kit of the Danmark features authentic detail throughout, including a two-piece lower hull, vacuformed plastic sails (you have to cut them out), thread for rigging, and a nice display stand. The separate upper and lower hulls allow for completion as either a full-hull or waterline model. Measures 22cm long when complete.
