The popular, steady-selling Glacier Express in the Alps is back with new features, including a luxurious new Excellence Class carriage. The actual carriage will travel through the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, connecting Zermatt and St. Moritz with the Rhaetian Railway.

This popular panoramic sightseeing train, which offers a leisurely eight-hour journey across two railway companies on the Terhorn-Gotthard Railway, offers magnificent views of the Alps from the windows.

In 2019, the Excellence Class, a higher-class version of the first-class car, was introduced, bringing changes to the existing carriages as well.
The lineup, including the luxurious new Excellence Class, which debuted in 2019, will be commercialized.

The existing first- and second-class cars have also received updates, including some interiors and seat colors, allowing you to enjoy the Glacier Express of today.
The Ge4/4-III will also be recreated with a renovated exterior.

The set power pack uses a high-output (1.2A) power pack standard SX and an AC adapter exclusively for the starter set. A 821mm x 347mm running Unitrak track set with two additional Unitrak S248 tracks and a set of rerailer tracks for the CV1 endless basic set (radius R150). You can enjoy the Glacier Express simply and conveniently on your table or desk at home.
