The Model A was developed and implemented into mass production as the successor to the legendary T model offered by the Ford concern. Compared to its predecessor, it differed in many elements. It also had a significantly improved styling, which appealed to the tastes of contemporary customers. There were also richer basic and additional equipment. The Ford model A very quickly became one of the most popular passenger cars in the United States, and its sales were not stopped even despite the Great Depression of 1929.
