The Hobby Plus 18P EVO platform contains an impressive list of new features, such as an oversized 130-size brushed motor, 2-speed transmission with metal gears and new gearbox case, forward-biased low-CG chassis design, 98:1 low range FDR for stump-pulling torque and 24.5:1 for fast fun runs.

Remaining features from the original CR18P platform include front and rear metal-geared portal axles for outstanding torque and best-in-class ground clearance. The V3 ESC/RX delivers buttery-smooth throttle response, required for the most challenging obstacles, while the integrated LED control system allows remote adjustment of high/low beam front headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, and more. Oversize (1.2”) internal beadlock wheels securely hold high-grip AT tires for maximum forward bite with optimized sidewall flex for traversing the toughest climbs.

The LCG twin-rail chassis design with front-mounted motor delivers superior handling with extraordinary amounts of articulation while avoiding unwanted bump steer and delivers a best-in-class 45-degrees of steering travel and 80cm (32”) turning radius. The innovative drivetrain delivers massive torque at low RPM for a finely controlled crawling experience, while the included LiPo battery delivers more than 40 minutes of run time per charge.

The aggressively themed body conveniently locates the battery compartment and power switch beneath the roll cage to eliminate the need for body removal, while injection-molded grille, bumper, mirrors, snorkel, and wipers offer an impressive scale appearance with potential for additional personalized options.
