The 500 series is a train developed by JR West for the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen line, characterized by a sharp and sleek shape reminiscent of an aircraft, and boasting a maximum speed of 300km/h in commercial operation.
In 2010, it retired from service on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen Nozomi line, and is now converted to an 8-car formation and is in service on the Sanyo Shinkansen line.

- This product (cars 1, 2, 5, and 16) can be combined with product numbers 98364 and 98365 to reproduce a full 16-car formation
- The pantograph reproduces the appearance equipped with the WPS204 type

- The head and tail lights are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board
- The head lights are lit by incandescent LEDs and the tail lights are lit by red LEDs
- The car number is printed
