The Hampden was a bomber used by the Royal Air Force in the early part of World War II, and it had a novel design for the time, including a narrow fuselage shape and slats on the leading edge of the outer wings to reduce air resistance. This machine was active in night bombing and torpedo missions until mid-1943.

Valom's 1/144-scale model kit of the H.P. Hampden TB Mk.I comes with decals for two versions: UK and Soviet Union. Please be aware that the torpedoes shown in the package illustration are not included. Approximately 11.3cm long, 14.6cm wingspan when completed
